Great game. Has a few great story missions. However multiplayer and mods is where it is at. Recommended that you try some of the many modded servers.. Be warned, this game has absolutely nothing to do with AutoRegressive Moving Average models.. Very fun playing with friends and sometimes RP, but game runs like♥♥♥♥♥♥. paid mods lol. Anyone here old enough to remember Operation Flashpoint that came out back in 2001? Well I had that back in the day and absolutely loved it and ARMA 3 is it's spiritual successor. Seeing online streams of this game along with DCS World were the kick up the backside I needed to save up and finally get a new PC after 10 or more years being strictly console gaming.

When you first play, it instantly feels like Operation Flashpoint all over again but with more polished visuals. The size and scope of the maps, the amount of vehicles and the squad commands etc. This isn't as fast paced as Call of Duty or Battlefield. It's more of a sim. You have to actually plan and execute your missions carefully rather than just running in and shooting anything that moves.

I haven't tried multiplayer yet as I'm still trying to get through all the campaigns and DLC first but if I have one major criticism, it's the A.I. I'm sure most of us are yet to play a game with 'perfect' A.I. but you'd think with all the years of experience Bohemia Interactive has with these games, that their A.I. programming skills would be a bit more seasoned. There's nothing more annoying than shooting from around the corner of a wall only to have an NPC squad member start doing the same thing from the same wall but right in front of your line of fire! You then fail the mission for friendly fire. Also, on some missions there's been incidents of squad members lagging far, far behind the rest of the group. When the the said member is given the order to 'regroup', he confirms the order but just goes prone on the ground and doesn't move at all. You quite literally have to go all the way back to his position before he get's back up and begins to follow you again. And that brings me to the menu/command system. Yes, there are lot's of commands which are laid out pretty much exactly the same as Operation Flashpoint's. I wasn't a fan of them then and I'm still not now. There surely has to be a more user friendly and efficient way of getting these commands into the game and for the user to implement them quickly and efficiently?

Anyway, that's it. Is it worth getting? Yes. I think most PC gamers have this in their collection by now. It's a great game but the A.I. and menu/command system feel out-dated and they're what let's the title down ever so slightly for me personally.

Other than that, enjoy!. It is one of the best games in my opinion I enjoy the roleplaying in it. Although the AI is admittedly more intelligent than the 13% of the population that commits 50% of the homicides, it is still criminally stupid.. You get pounded with in-game ads if you haven't got the DLC. This game is poppin but they really really want u to buy their DLC. I wasted credits on a vehicle via request support tab, tried to drive it and it wouldn't let me. A screen popped up telling me to buy the DLC in order to operate it as a crew member. Why even have it be spawnable if I can't drive it lmao

-Arma 2 had more vehicles and content
-AI in arma 3 is still♥♥♥♥♥but improved over Arma 2.
-Voice acting is alot better in arma 3
-Awesome scenery, Big maps
-Ghillie suits in the game kind of look like nugs of weed
-Seems to be optimized to a point, Lots of graphics options
-Workshop compatibility
-Immersive sounds just like arma 2
-Working Bipods
-More command options
-Much better Editor
-Faster loading times compared to Arma 2
-Some interesting features and scenarios. Very fun playing with friends and sometimes RP, but game runs like♥♥♥♥♥♥

Nominate us for the Steam Awards!. # Fighting with Weapons:
First off is battle using weapons.

Use the A nd D keys to move left and right,
and head toward a fiend to attack with a weapon.

Use the Space key to jump.
It comes in useful when hitting an airborne fiend
and for evading attacks.

I'll let you in on one more fighting technique.

You need to face toward an enemy to attack them,
but by standing still and letting your weapon do the talking,
you can "parry" a fiend's attack.

However parrying is pretty much useless
against powerful or quick attacks.

It's tricky to get the hang of it,
but if you can become able to pull off a parry during a heated battle,
you can come out on top and avoid needless injuries.

Pay close attention to fiends' movements and status
and decide whether to attack, parry, or evade.
The power of decision during battle is your invisible backup.
Brush up on these skills and you'll be on equal footing with even the fiercest fiends.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/675490/Artifact_Adventure_Gaiden/. # Threats in the Dungeon and in the Field:
# Threats in the Dungeon. # Battle with artifacts:
Let's move on to battle using artifacts.
Artifacts must be pre-equipped, and "Active Artifacts" can be activated using the "M", "," and "." keys.
Except for certain items, "Passive Artifacts" provide permanent effects.

No two artifacts are exactly alike, and it would be impossible to explain the effects of all of them.
So here we'll just explain about equippable artifacts.

First off is artifacts for attacking.
The hordes of fiends appearing in the dungeons are, to a certain extent, fixed.
As long as you don't touch a whirlpool, they're generally similar.

As for the fiends composing these hordes, if they're mostly on the ground, then select a ground-based artifact.
If they're mostly in the air, then select an air-based artifact.

If you find there are some fiends you don't like or which are hard to approach in the horde, then you can select wide-range attack artifacts, or artifacts that will allow you to attack a fiend from a distance.

Not only based on fiend hordes, if you personally prefer close-range combat, then select an artifact good for close-range combat, or an artifact that gives you an "aura".

Auras have elements of both active artifacts and passive artifacts.

With auras, on top of gaining skill boosts, making them active will make those
skills improve even further for a set amount of time.

These artifacts providing auras will prove useful in protecting yourself.
Activate auras at the right time to easily avoid danger.

There are also fiend-weaking artifacts, artifacts activated after fulfilling certain conditions, artifacts which summon a powerful force, artifacts which take full advantage of tools...
Yeah, there really are all sorts of artifacts in the game world.

Select them based on your enemies, or on yourself.
Which artifact you use is up to you.
Start off by finding the artifacts you like.
