About This Game

DubWars is an action-packed arcade shooter that successfully combines music and gaming in a way never seen before. We've collaborated with incredible EDM and Dubstep artists to create a game that synchronizes the energetic music with fun and exciting gameplay. The music becomes your weapon as they fire in sync to the rhythm of the song, each beat firing a unique weapon. Listen to the bass, up beats, climax, and the drop of each song in order to progress through each level's difficulty. Analyze the risk and reward of collecting Wubs from destroyed enemies in order to upgrade, or just try to frantically survive the song!

Stupid mindless fun, it put a smile on my face. (got it on sale for like $2, easily worth it)

The progression is a bit wierd, so spread out your playthrough and play a round or two between other games, so you don't get tired of replaying the same tracks over and over in a row to unlock the other tracks.

It would be cool if there was a way to load your own tracks like Audio surf, but i fully understand that doing that and getting everything to sync up in a balanced way could be incredibly difficult. /2c. Me: Oh look a stray game! What's the matter?

Me: Guys who made this game, you dun ****ed it up!!. You can see everything DubWars has to offer right now in about 20 minutes (that is, except the "old" game that they removed!). It's not bad, but it's not at all substantial. Really neat idea, really barebones right now. If Steam let me leave a neutral review I would. The price is way too high for what this is, even if it was a complete game, so I'll skew negative.. If you love Dubstep and Gaming, This is definetely the game for you. This game features dubstep of all kind that will appeal to any dubstep lover. Dubwars is a must have!. This is awful... I'm a music guy and the premise sounds cool. Your ship fires to the beat of the song, it's really interesting until you realize what huge mess this is. The songs have so much downtime that it just comes to dodging the huge numers of enemies since you weapon won't fire and when it does, you never know what gun will fire. You have your target on one enemy and your weapon fires off in a completely different direction. You have no control over when or which weapon will fire. You have to memorize it throughout every song. To get a better ship you have to pick up cash drops that are spawned randomly by killing the enemies but you will mostly spend them on health, since there are a lot of undodgable situations here. So you upgraded your health to get through and want to start the next level, "excited" to upgrade your weapons... Yeah... No... In every song/lvl you have to start with a blank slate of a ship. You can't take your upgrades with you to the next level. The songs themselves aren't bad but nothing to write home about. Just run of the mill edm music if you ask me.

So... Would I recommend DubWars? Not even if you get it for free. It's awful, it really is. Just get Beat Hazard. It's an older titel but has awsome visuales, you can shoot yourself with a weapon of your own choosing, it also reacts to the beat of music and you can even use your own songs. Just get that instead of this.. Wub wubwub wub, wub wubwubwubwub wub wubwubwubwubwub, duuuundundundunduuundun wub

420/10 WOULD BANG. 0 replayablilty, Super cringy graphics, good music, worth $1 ~ $0.50 Overall another short and fun game that is overpriced.. Played all the songs in 60 minutes wnated a refund but sadly steam didnt have the true refund system when i bought this, finally found out i have this game again and still regret my decision.. This game is definitely worth having.
