Under lots of pressure from royalty, Mal returns to the isle of the lost to find her enemy Uma, the daughter of Ursula, has taken over. Uma has a team of pirates including Harry, the son of Captain Hook, and Gil, the son of Gaston, to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon so villain kids can live there. Now it is up to Evie, Jay, Carlos, and Ben to stop Mal from becoming evil again and to stop Uma, Gil, and Harry from breaking the barrier.
When the pressure to be royally perfect becomes too much for Mal, she returns to her rotten roots on the Isle of the Lost where her archenemy Uma, the daughter of Ursula from The Little Mermaid, has taken her spotself-proclaimed queen of the run-down town. Uma, still resentful over not being selected by Ben to go to Auradon Prep with the other Villain Kids, stirs her pirate gang including Captain Hook's son Harry and Gaston's son Gil, to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon, and unleash all the villains imprisoned on the Isle once and for all.
The first Descendants movie i thought was brilliant Kenny Ortega did an amazing job and i would almost say it was better than HSM. However the second movie really let the whole franchise down. The music was the best part out of the whole film. I didn't understand the story line why does it begin with ways to be wicked then just goes into the story line like nothing happened the whole story line was a shambles and i just didn't enjoy it.
Descendants 2 was amazing! Better then the first movie! Yes, it's a kids movie so why people are hating on it? Don't know! Sure, there isn'tmuch actionwe'd like, but there is more action then the first movie! And, people got to remember; this is a kids movie; so it can't really bring it's full potential like people want. However; the music, the acting, and the plot line overall was really well done and with the way the movie ended, there's no doubt we'll be getting a Descendants 3 soon! Way to go Disney! Keep it up with this series; there's defiantly something magical about this tail :)
