About This Game

Never Again - Horror/first-person Quest. The main essence of the game is research locations and puzzles, plunging in the dramatic story of a little girl suffering from asthma.

The main character - Sasha Anders, a thirteen year old girl who awakens from a nightmare. The world seems to be upside down for her. Everything becomes so strange. The house is imbued with loneliness and longing and it seems strange to our character considering it was always dominated by love and harmony. Everywhere except for the heroine's room, suspiciously darkens, without even a single sound. Her parents and younger brother have gone missing. The girl is smart and sensible beyond her years, but each person has their own fears, and sometimes they cannot cope. This is especially troubling Sasha, due to the slightest fear, she feels suffocated.

The story that we'll tell you penetrates deep in your heart and leaves the experience forever. The saddest part of this mystical tale, is that it is not a tale at all. This is the story of a little girl, the story of Sasha Anders.

Never again... Will I buy something like this.. 10 hours of gameplay for another guilt trip that the Holocaust was bad. Dont waste your time with this.

The soundtrack is good and the gameplay is alright but this is just an overdone trope.. Worth Buying , Worth Playing !!! 5*. Refunded because:

1. You have to die to progress, over and over...
2. You have to walk down a long stairs and open a stupid door everytime YOU DIE...
3. Walking sideways is clunky
4. Why did I buy this?
. loved the game, but im puzzled because i seem to come to an end, dont know if im supposed to die all the time then restarts same place .says chapter 1-2 beta version. stuck here or should i have update?. This game has a very Intresting concept , a fine work of only 2 people who made this game some elements in the game have a very different style of horror taste in it which is refreshing theres maybe only 1 part that maybe you do need to youtube the answer { least thats what i did } it was a good experince i really look foward for the next update to continue the story!

May10th 2019 , Full Version of the game is out , yeah they reworked a few things , only downside is this game is really short i was hoping for more things to do but it was slightly extended then the version i played back 4 months ago

do i recommend it? yeah if you want to play a unique style of horror game go for it its pretty good but really short. I really, REALLY wanted to love this game and in many ways I do.

First, the good:<\/i>

The graphics. The visuals are gorgeous and play very nicely in developing the atmosphere.
<\/li>
The lighting is near perfect in that it isn't too dark, nor too bright and really sets the tone.
<\/li>
The story. I really enjoyed the story (up to the point I stopped playing). In fact, I loved the story. I really wanted to finish it out (I'll have to watch YouTube to see how it ends).
<\/li>
The atmosphere. I thought the atmosphere is very well done. It plays perfectly into the story and the suspense that's built up throughout your play.
<\/li>
The jump scares. They are there, but they're not overly done and add quite well to the suspense.
<\/li>
The music. The music was perfect. Really added to the atmosphere and helped with the suspense.
<\/li>
The puzzles. I enjoyed the puzzles. They were thought provoking, but were not so much they ended up proving annoying or frustrating. <\/li><\/ul>
Second, the neutral:<\/i>
- The controls. For mouse\/keyboard they're OK. Movement is good, but for 'me' tasks such as opening doors, drawers, etc seemed a little clunky. Not so much that the ruined the game, but it just felt a little off, again for me. <\/li><\/ul>
  Finally, the bad:<\/i>
  - I'll spare you any spoilers here and just say that there is a certain item you MUST have or you die. I HATED it. It ruined the experience for me. I understand what the devs were trying to do. It reminded me of "Outlast" in always having to search for and replace the batteries in your camcorder. However, in this instance it was way over done. I stopped playing because of this. Constantly running out and finding myself in need. Again, I understand it was meant to generate a sense of urgency, but it proved more irritating<\/i> and frustrating<\/i> then I could appreciate.<\/li><\/ul>
    Overall, the positives greatly outweigh the one negative. It's worth a buy and worth playing. MY issue with the particular item might just be me. You; however, may have no issue with it at all. I do recommend giving this game a shot. It seems like the devs are sticking with it (which seems to be rare amongst smaller indy developers these days, which is another reason I recommend supporting them by purchasing and playing this game.
    
    I may go back and play again... but that one negative really just gives me pause. If they increased the item's affect (longevity) or reduced the frequency of when it was required - I think it'd be a near perfect game (as a matter of personal opinion).. Great horror game!
    Graphics:
    The game looks atmospheric and neat, I especially like that all menus are actually animated and installed right into the game experience.
    Gameplay: I liked a lot combination of puzzles and wandering with the mix of suspense and creepy moments ^^
    This game has something more to reveal in future episodes, that for sure.
    Very high quality for an early access project! Gratz!
