One of the best Choice of Games games of the 'resource management' kind ever, despite being one of the oldest. Despite the bittersweet nature of the story suggested by the title, its a very rewarding game in the vein of Monster Rancher.. It's an interesting take on the raising monsters\/RPG kind of format. There's good replayability, and a good amount of choices you can switch around on different playthroughs. Being able to change how the different monsters turn out based on how you train them is neat, even if they don't always end up with the results you were going for..
