The game is also very cheap, and trust me you get a lot for that 99 cents. Also the art style in this game is awesome. The gameplay is fun too, it feels really satisfying to trap the monsters behind boxes, This game is easy to run, cheap, beautiful and most of all fun.. This game is mercilessly unfair. I only ever play it because it seems of low enough quality to be very short and the achievements very easy, and it has made even that miserable.. EDIT: The developer is working on fixing my problem with the controller support, so I've decided to edit this review to reflect that.
So, think of Sokoban. Classic concept. Now imagine it with monsters chasing you. That's Toxic Terror. While the basic idea is there, and the idea of moving stuff\/yourself around a level whilst being chased isn't so novel either (Burger Time, Wrecking Crew, Crazy Castle come to mind) it works well here and is combined with the right kind of clever level design that it needs. Also the horror theme works well, as it reminds one of classic gaming titles with a similar theme and characters (Castlevania, Vampire-Master of Darkness, Nosferatu, etc.).
I'd recommend it!
