The first A Place in the West soundtrack features 9 original pieces of ambient and instrumental music created by Chris Jolley and directly inspired by Half-Life: A Place in the West. Chris's previous credits as an audio engineer / composer include games such as Assassin's Creed Chronicles (China, Russia, and India), Runescape, Bloodforge, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows (I & II), and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. With A Place in the West's soundtrack Chris has composed more than a half hour of music to capture the mystery and intrigue of New Franklin.

Its really good.. The addition of an original soundtrack greatly improves the mood and atmosphere of the comic. It's probably the closest we'll get to an actual Half-Life film.. Let me be the first to say that this soundtrack is GREAT and i really like the mood the music portrays it is kind of mystic and mysterious. However, I would say that the price of the soundtrack is just a little much as it is only formed up of nine songs. But in saying that I understand why they would have to charge as much as they would need more money to fund their goals for such things such as new translations for the comic and upcoming comic chapters. All in all this soundtrack is really really good and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of half life and its music genre and anyone who is a fan of the comic series.. Its really good..
