I hear a lot of discussion in the SEO community that is questioning the value of building links.
The current SEO Trends seem to be leaning towards focusing on the technical aspects of SEO and leaving link building afterwards - or not at all.
I think that technical referencing is extremely important and that a good technical SEO professional is worth every penny earned.
But the lack of a strategy to create quality links leaves money on the table.
If you're forced to measure volume links, I think you're hurting it.
Many case studies show that a few high-quality, relevant links will perform better than many thousands of irrelevant, inferior links.
