This game is more interesting than it seems at first glance. It's a classic point&click game with an Indiana Jones vibe. The ending was great in my opinion. I would recommend it to you if you like games like Secret Files and Broken Sword.. I would give a horizontal thumb if that would be possible + Solid adventure mechanics + Nice graphics + Lots of locations - Silly story (I just don't like such seriously taken religious mix ups) - Locations all linear with mostly not that much to do per location - therefore mostly rather easy - some graphic bugs (paddock runnging behind background objects) - german version stupidly censored But so I give a thumbs down, mostly because of the silly world soul story stuff.. played hundreads of adventure games this ranks up there pretty high.. Lost Horizon is a fun adventure game. The puzzles are well designed and not too hard to figure out. The game is not too violent and has a relaxing pace to it. Score: 7.5. Pretty fun point-and-click situational puzzle game. The voice acting is done really well with a funny script too. The colorful backgrounds and character models are drawn beautifully. As much fun adventure as an Indiana Jones movie, complete with Nazi evil. Sometimes, though, the situational puzzles can be a little far-fetched, making you think, "Who would have ever thought of that??" At times, the dialogue in the cutscenes can drag on a little long but I think the developers were rewarding you with storytelling from all that puzzle solving.. Totally average, but no reason not to recommend to the point and click aficionado.. point-and-click adventure games. The game is perfect. Everything about it is beautiful and polished to the extreme.. Ok not an easy game to review. I decided to give it a thumbs up from the enjoyement my family got from it. I played it on my computer and projected it on to the 50in tv. I should let you know that I got this dirt cheap. + Atmosphere: yes it does rip off a lot but at least the source material it stole from is great. + Voice acting - Gameplay: easy puzzles to just guesswork. Aolt of repetive back and forth visting places I have been just for one item. For the most part this is family friendly game.. Decent adventure game. Good production values on scenes, somewhat rigid animations. Very okay story and meh gameplay for an adventure game. Somewhat boring to play through, and the English voices are a bit off. Writing's okay: it often tries to be funny or witty but falls flat on its face in the process. All in all, a decent adventure game that'll last you a good 11 or so hours. You'd be better off getting a Telltale Games adventure, a title from LucasArts, or Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. 6/10.
