About This Game

Story:

Perseverance: Part 1 is the first installment of a horror & drama story revolving around two different characters whose paths will cross in the middle of horrific events.

In Part 1 you play as Jack Cutter, a father who is struggling to keep his family together. He’s a ‘go-to’ guy in his hometown of Grey Ville. Research conducted in the nearby military base gives the town a mysterious aura. Residents prefer to stay away from it. Things take an unexpected turn when one of experiments goes horribly wrong and the area is quarantined.

Meanwhile a mysterious woman chases a fugitive. Her superiors expect her to fulfill her orders as usual... but they aren't telling her everything. The person she’s after is more than what she appears to be.

Soon both Jack and the mysterious agent will find themselves in the middle of a crisis that will change them forever.

Cool story, great value per dollar spent on a game. Totally recommended if you like TellTale and The Walking Dead stuff. A lot of narrative choices, I became a heartless meanie in the first 5 minutes. :D. Interesting and well presented novel, that keeps you wondering what will happen next for the whole time. Great soundrack, you can tell that talented people were working on this little piece of art. Highly recommended for fans of story-driven games, can't wait for the second part of the game. Well done !. A generally well-written and otherwise quite atmospherically-executed visual novel. Sure, there's some blatant typos, and slight imperfections with the audio...but all in all, it's a fairly promising start to a projected series.

Not too sure about the price, though, as this will only take over an hour to play if you're an especially slow reader. That said, 100%-ing the Achievements will take a wee bit longer, so there's some added value right there for those inclined towards such things.

If you're up for a solidly-told horror tale, and dig the art style you see on the Store page, it's doubtful you'll be disappointed. I do, however, hope that future instalments are free for existing owners, or at least a tad cheaper than this first instalment, as this is bound to become an expensive hobby otherwise...

Verdict: 7.5\/10.

Cheers!). Really like the game and story so far. The art style is nice too and for me is reminiscent of the art style of comic books, and the soundtrack is also good and adds to the atmosphere. The main character and his family are believable and likeable characters, realistically flawed and fighting their own demons, which only adds to the overall impact of the story.

There are choices in this game that have some impact of the type of person Jack is, and more minor details of the story but don't affect the overall outcome, and with certain choices Jack will end up doing the other choice anyway.

Still, overall this is a good visual novel, with an engaging story and (especially with part 1 ending on a cliffhanger) I'm looking forward to part 2.. Interesting and well presented novel, that keeps you wondering what will happen next for the whole time. Great soundrack, you can tell that talented people were working on this little piece of art. Highly recommended for fans of story-driven games, can't wait for the second part of the game. Well done !. The game at first glance is inconspicuous, unknown company and mysterious title, but ... This game has an amazing atmosphere, graphics and music are at a really good level, despite the initial slow pace of action, it is easy to empathize with the situation of the main character, which makes this game a lot of fun. I am waiting for tomorrow's game and the next part of the adventure!. If you've enjoyed The Walking Dead by Telltale games, then this little gem is a "MUST BUY" in my eyes!

The story and drama will immediately suck you into it and have you feeling emotions, sorrow, guilt, and sadness. I love the story so far, I read it aloud on my Youtube channel in my LiveSteam under the Moonshine series (episodes #211 and #212). Before you just go search those up though, I highly recommend that you buy this and experience it for yourself first! This is well worth the money and more affordable than a single episode of the Walking Dead would cost if you purchased a full season at regular price.

NOTE: Unlike The Walking Dead, you'll need to read this yourself, much more like a visual novel. However this allows you to take it at your own pace and imagine more than a story that gives you everything on a silver platter. Reading yourself can help you imagine things much more vividly than having it handed to you via actors on tv or voice actors.

I love it and so far I'd give "Perseverance" a very strong 9 out of 10. ...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
