Pretty good puzzle game in the same vein as QUBE or The Turing Test. It's not overly difficult but challenging enough to keep you engaged and the progression of difficulty is well-paced. It took me just over 5 hours to complete but your mileage may vary.

My only complaint is that it is far too easy to get into a fail state during a puzzle and have to restart the entire room again, it would have been nice to have mid-puzzle checkpoints during some of the longer sections. Most of the puzzles are short enough though that that's not a massive issue.

The story and setting are fairly compelling, and the voice-acting is fairly good too. The slightly spooky atmosphere works well to have you on edge and give the feeling that something isn't quite right.

All in all, if you like games such as The Turing Test, QUBE, The Talos Principle, Pneuma: Breath of Life, or Portal, I can highly recommend this. If you get it on sale, even better.. An interesting game with an unsettling undertone. The puzzles aren't particularly difficult however still require a bit of forethought and planning, there were certainly a couple of "oooooh right" moments while I played, be it the puzzles or the underlying story. If you're looking for a puzzle game to sink a few hours in to, it's not a bad one to do so.

I hadn't caught all the hidden logs, maybe you will as you stay, afterall the weather has taken a nastry turn.. This game is awesome i rate it very high good puzzles some hard some easy just the right mix 4.06 was partically great to solve.
This game reminds me of The Turing Test more like this guys a big shout to the game makers.
There could be more levels of course using more colour boxs and more turn plates spining the room around.

If you are a fan of first-person puzzle games or walking simulators with puzzle elements, then do yourself a favor and get this game right now, it's a must buy. It has an intense, well-presented, well-written story, with great voice acting and solid dialogue, a fantastic atmosphere supported by everything from graphics, to theme, sound design, to sound track. The puzzles revolve around a fairly simple set of core mechanics that are easy to grasp, but it explores those with interesting and creative variations, certainly not the hardest or most in-depth puzzles, although one thing to note is that as others have mentioned in their reviews, it is quite easy to get yourself stuck in puzzles and forced to restart them, most of the individual puzzles aren't too long so I didn't find it an issue, but it is something to note and probably my only con about the game, on that note for some people, they may find the number of puzzles to be lacking compared to more puzzle intensive first-person puzzlers, though frankly, I thought it achieved a very nice balance. So yea, if you like this genre or similar genres of games, I think you'll really enjoy this one.. I'm a sucker for this sort of games that combine interesting puzzle mechanics with an intriguing story ever since I first played Portal. The Spectrum Retreat is yet another very good example.

Story
You're the only guest in a hotel that seems to be run by well meaning, albeit somewhat creepy looking robots. Why are you here? Why is every day literally the same, right down to the conversation with the manager about the wheather? What's with the geometry of this place not making sense? And what is the plan of that woman calling you, telling you to essentially break out, obviously knowing way more about this place than she is willing to tell you? If you now think that this sounds like yet another one of those AI-gone-crazy plots that we are all to familiar with by now: I won't go into any detail here, obviously, but I can promise you that there is way more to it than that.
As you may have guessed, this does not make for a funny story like Portal's by any stretch. In this regard, it is a lot more similar to, for example, The Talos Principle, tackling some difficult issues and raising questions.

Gameplay
The main part in terms of gameplay consists of multiple puzzle chambers that you solve one by one, very much in the spirit of Portal, while there are more and more elements introduced that make the puzzles increasingly complex. The primary element is an interesting colour switching mechanic that enables you to pass through barriers, but also fall through bridges, if they are of the colour that you "absorbed" last.
There is a nice learning curve to the puzzles without them ever becoming too terribly difficult, but also without boring you by staying too simple for too long.
I am happy to say that time is not a factor with the puzzle elements, as I do not like that at all in games like this.
As with most of these titles, the game is best played using keyboard and mouse as you will need to aim for blocks having the colour you need (and for other things later on), sometimes from quite a bit away. It is never really fiddly, but I would imagine that trying to do it with a controller might get irritating.

Some Issues
While the game, as I said, is good, there are some issues that keep it from being excellent. Apart from some smaller nitpicky ones, there are three that I want to address separately:
The game, to me, felt sort of binary. It is basically designed in chunks. There are story and puzzle chunks, each of considerable length, that you alternate between and that only feel quite loosely connected to each other. As an example, you will never have to use your puzzle solving skills in the story part while, on the other hand, there are only very contained mentions of the story during puzzles, if at all. Basically, if the puzzles were switched out for some completely different ones, it would only take a few lines of altered dialogue in the story parts and the plot would make just as much sense, which makes it feel like there was a missed opportunity of intertwining the two aspects better.
There is a lot of backtracking and doing the same things again and again involved in the story chunks. I am aware that this is clearly by design, but that didn't stop me from getting a bit annoyed by it as the game went on.
While the puzzles are designed well enough, they do not feel as rigorously tested and optimized to minimize the amount of fail states as in other examples of the genre. There were multiple instances where I was in the middle of trying to solve a puzzle when I realized that I screwed up somewhere before and that there was nothing I could do about it. In that case, you will have to manually go to the menu to reset the puzzle and start over. The game does not recognize, let alone help, in such situations.

Conclusion
A good game I would love to see more of. Not without its faults, but very competent nevertheless. Sadly, it seems that this is one of those new releases that lack the broader public attention to not get buried under the pile of trash turning up on Steam every day. Let's hope this might still change.. Actually mindblowing. Felt like a child from antichamber and portal in a sense. Really fun and gets more and more puzzling. Only thing i was dissapointed about was that there isnt more to the game. It seems like a ton of fun and was dissapointed when i was almost at the end. Still really fun 4 hours; probably gonna go play it again to get the other ending.. Lots of the reviews talk about how it mixes narrative and puzzle solving together, but it keeps them almost entirely separate. There are "flashbacks" and small documents you can read in the puzzles to flesh out the playable characters story but they are repetetive and don't add much. There are small collectibles in the hotel sections that give you the backstory but it pieced together out of order over the couurse of the whole game.

You walk slowly (really really slowly) around a hotel in the narrative portions to unlock puzzle chambers, the game just tells you where to go and what the codes to open doors are. The narrator babies you the entire way, and if you stray off the main path just to look around, she babies you harder. The voice acting is fine, it's just that the script is not good

Once youre into the puzzle sections it's just a matter of putting things in the right places, very little thought is needed to get through most rooms. But theres always the chance you'll delete a colour you needed or get trapped with no way back, meaning you have to go into the menu to restart the room. This is just bad puzzle design, you should never be stuck in the middle of a solve.

I kept on playing passed the point of boredom because i knew they would introduce new mechanics into the puzzle rooms that i thought might make it more challenging. But even after adding gravity shifting, the puzzles were still just as mundane. Steam has my playtime at 2.9 hours but it felt so so much longer.

If youre looking for something to scratch this itch, my reccomendation is The Witness.. Walked around for 5 Minutes, following vague descriptions from a voiceover with unclear instructions.
All that to do what? To open a door.

Decided I can spend my time better and then I experienced the best part of this game: THE REFUND BUTTON WORKED!.. I just finished a full playthrough, and may I say this was a refreshing taste of a story orientated gameplay, I personally find it finds a nice balance between sitting to hear dialogue and (for me atleast) fairly physcologically stimulating puzzles, great game to play while the internets down, I wish there more games like this instead of being flooded by first person shooters with the only story and character building being done with the explicit intent of killing off the character in question, fairly suprising story overall though, and on a final note the atmosphere and art style and excicution remind me of a insception-esk design. My overall rating is a 7/10.

Game could use better polish and voice recording could be improved but bear in mind those flaws didn't hinder the imersion pretty much at all.. I really enjoyed this game! Despite it being short (only 4+ hours) i would argue it has a deeper and richer story than games 3-4 times it's length. This game has two diffrent endings so i suggest playing it twice, i also suggest looking at every paper, newspaper, and book you can find because they offer massive amounts of backstory. I reccomend this to ANYONE who enjoyed Portal and Portal 2 because this game has the same vibe to it.
overall: 10/10
