A game based on stimulating your EPILEPTIC ATTACKS very well, apart from your muscle memory and your reflexes. Simple but challenging, is very fun and rarely frustrating (in the last levels it can be). If you want to complete 100% it will take many hours. WORTH IT, SERIOUSLY.. Yeah, you know, it's one of those games which walk in Super Meat Boy's steps. Pros : the usual. Fluid and slightly innovative controls, nice graphics. Cons : the usual. It's frustrating in the wrong way. Levels are too long, given the average difficulty of the traps. You have to start over and over and over, only to panic when you finally get to the second part, because the first part of the level requires absurd precision. Then you start over and die again until you get another vague chance at understanding what you have to do next. So why is my review positive ? Well, it's still better than SMB to that extent. And I found the storyline and graphical ambiance really cool. Plus I have to admit the level design is brilliant (at least when it doesn't require pixel-perfect action). It's an excellent buy for both people who genuinely like SMB-likes and people who pretend to like them for the bragging rights. If you're not what they call a "hardcore" gamer, though, I'd not expect the fun you can pull off this game to exceed half an hour.. Simple controls, fast paced with a great soundtrack. Highly recommended.. I knew this game would be hard, but looking at the videos, I thought I could handle it. All the videos are of the easy levels. This game is janked.. I really like this game, i'm 3 hours in at world 3 lvl 28, and it's so good. It's dumb fun. :D You only have two buttons at your disposal, but they managed to use those two buttons in interesting and fun ways. The game is neither easy nor that hard for now, although it starts to get harder when you are closing in on the end.. Two buttons, one gun.. This game is hugely worth the price tag. I would say the only thing it's lacking is content, however with hunting for atomiks, and unlocking bonus boss levels, there is definitely replay value. Besides the killer ost, the game has its visuals down pat with a quite decent story. The gameplay and levels are quick and intense, you will feel challenged, but also inspired to give the level another go when you make progress. The brutal difficulty is negated when you finish a stage you spent hours on and feel like an absolute god. I would like to add that for people like me who are daunted by collectibles, and find them more of a chore than a feature. This is the only game that has made me want to get collectibles. When I saw that this game was recommended as having "masochistic collectables" I was less than excited, but after playing through the game, it makes you feel like even more of a badass upon "perfection" of a level. I would have to give it 3/3 - Too many things are done right, and it will keep you in a hypnotic trance of death and respawn.
