Business Magnate is a tycoon business simulation game where you can create all types of businesses: Cars, rockets, phones, tanks, trucks, airplanes, computers and ships. Design, produce, market and sell them. You can even run multiple companies at the same time. Become the ultimate Business Magnate (or Business Magnet).

How it works

Start by creating a company: First, choose what to produce. For example, you can design cars (combustion engine based, electric, hybrid), then produce, market and sell them. Other types of products are trucks, phones, computers, ships, airplanes, tanks and even rockets. Once you are successful, you can even start more companies, and run them at the same time.

Design and Research

In order to meet market demands, you need to design your products so that customers will actually want them, and won't prefer to buy your competitors products. Research new technologies and design new products as your move on to fit into a moving market. For example for cars, you want to research bigger and more efficient batteries, if you decide to produce electric cars, or more performant combustion engines if you want to produce gasoline or diesel based cars.

Gameplay

The game is running in real-time, but can be accelerated and paused at any time. Manage employees, track financial and sales data, start and run marketing campaigns, analyze the market. Good concept, but i did think it is too much mechanic for my taste.. sadly not the game you're looking for. Extremely well designed and credible graphics but lacks that retention factor that keeps you coming back. sad to say that I wouldn't recommend.. Well at this point of the game, it feels like a bad early access version. Considering the price i would still say, that both, the playabillity and the price are not fit together. I love the concept behind it. I have to downvote this piece of software at the moment, but let's have a look in the near future. Let's watch this game in 3 month from now.

I don't want to downvote alone. I will give the developer some ideas how to make it better. I thjnk this way this review fits better for me and all can learn.

Here are my thoughts:

-WASD for map controll
-A Bulldozer graphic instead of a green square to show clearly that you can destroy your buildings.
- I choosed rockets. I had to build every production hall to see, that i have to build the large production building in order to start with the rocket business. A hint in the tutorial would be nice.
- A deeper economy would be nice. Dont know how to write it down.
- Routing buidlings together
- Choose a storage, where the stuff is arriving
- Choose from where the production building gets the materials
- All buildings are unlocked at the start. instead of unlock all you have to do things, get some sales for the company
- Negotiation with the employees
- At the salary menu the bootom slider can not adjusted easily. Need a form to type in instead
-Shortcuts for Timewarp: 1, 2, 3 Space etc.
- If you sell a building, you get nothing in return. Make a 25-50% refund from the building
- I cannot scale my marketing. 166 Employees can be assigned. Need more :)
-U cannoit close a company if you have more than one. Change that.
- If your second company goes bankrupt the total game is over. Thats not fine :( Killed my 3 hour "not savegame" :( Change that please.

o\/. Yes the game has some flaws with difficulty and the annoyances of stuff like inventory management but it does have potential and for less the \u00a38 I enjoyed playing on it for a few hours.

There are a number of things that could be improved but it seems really unfair to have 'Mostly Negative' reviews it isn't that bad, I personally enjoyed it.. I'm not sure how this game is listed, but it should be under 'casual' or more aptly, 'childs play'.
There's absolutely no challenge to it, even under the most difficult settings.

I actually like the game mechanics. I think it has potential and there's no bugs that I've noticed - but it's purely a sandbox or simulator game, offering no excitement or sense of accomplishment.

It's cheap, but not worth the money if you expect more than sandbox play.. Got Old Quick
