About This Game

Forgotten Land is a small adventure game in which you will play for the driver who had an accident. The protagonist finds himself in a large valley, which according to local legend was called the Forgotten Land. There is a legend that the spirit of the ancient creature lives in the valley, which takes souls of all people who have taken the wrong turning. In any case, the main character needs to get out of the valley quickly and to find the nearest village.

When the game starts, you find yourself walking down a road. Then you.. wait no, that's literally it. Wait, at the end of the road there's a church! Inside the church there's... nothing. Next to the church is a "small house" (according to the achievements), which looks identical to the church except the roof has been cut off.

Off in the distance you see a castle. As you get closer, you realize the castle is actually four of the church models copy+pasted next to each other. When you step inside.. wait no, you can't, because there's an invisible wall in the way.

Welp, that's the end of the game, I guess.

There was no narration, no story, no interaction, no discernable gameplay, nothing. This was clearly a low-effort asset-flip game. Avoid at all costs.. Incomplete. You reach an area with frozen empty houses and nothing happens.

Playtime is limited or he will die from the cold? Yeah right. Nothing happens even if you let the game sit.

Several ways to get to the village? Rewards? With invisible walls, there is only one path to get to those frozen empty houses. There is no rewards at the end of this quick demo.

False advertising and incomplete game. Maybe if it had an "early access" sign, it might've been forgivable, but it doesn't. I believe the developer allowed it to be complete as it is. Just like the developer's other game which could be clocked in under 5 minutes. This is an another cash grab type of developer. Even at $1.19, the developer walks away with more than $70 (counting 70+ reviews) walking away happy regardless of bad reviews.
