This is basically Galaxian or Galaga in VR and totally worth playing. The head aiming mechanic takes some getting used to but after a little bit it's no problem,even though for me the aimpoint is too low but whatever I got over it. A great arcade game and solid seated VR game with no real requirement other than shoot and destroy. Graphics are great, sounds and animation is solid, and gameplay is what I was hoping for out of an old school arcade style shooter converted to VR.. I paid $2.49 for this and that is all it is worth. This to me is a tech demo of a game and not a full game itself which is ashame because this has the potential to be a VR selling app. You aim with your head and not the controllers which is a turn off to some but I feel that it makes sense because to aim with the controllers you have to turn your head anyway. Another thing about this title is that the levels you play are one off missions and not a comtining story. All and all a game that is worth $2.49 and not a penny more.. Not recommending this game solely because although it says "Tracked motion controllers", the game is 100% head-tracked, and it only uses the triggers primarily. Although the head tracking is pretty great, definitely not what I went in expecting. All that being said, it is a very fun game! The head tracking is spot on, and does make sense for the setting. It also looks pretty great. One minor issue I had was the intro cutscene gave me my first disorienting VR experience. When it went through the tiny spaceship compartments, that set off a bit of my claustrophobia as well, which was somewhat unsettling, but that doesn't last very long. To the devs: I'd recommend reevaluating the current intro scene. Give us some frame of reference, a ship or suit at least.. It's like Dance Dance Revolution for my neck.. Good graphics but incredibly repetitive and gets boring very fast.. Not awful, but not good. Seems like a cheap indie arcade game. It seems to be the same gameplay over and over with the occasional change of evnironment. Bought it for 3.99. Not worth it.. This is a very cool VR shooter game. You aim with your point of view, so thats a interesting twist. Aiming is suprisingly intuitive, and the gameplay is quick and fun. It's a wave shooter broken up into missions, and normally I dont like that at all, but I do here. There is not a tone of content, but what is here is tight and well made. The graphics are very good, especially for VR. This one was worth full price, and always puts a smile on my face.. the most playable game for my oculus rift, i have to say i wish the same technology was used for a WW2 AA shooter or something. or jsut any tower defence game/ EVE themed games are so missleading. i think CCP is a corrupt company and need to just die. but i like iceland, so would hate to see half their gdp vanish. I do recommand this game as it sets a good benchmark for others to follow. just hate ccp sorry. its personal./ EVE valkarye related. It's all right. a good hour or two of fun, don't expect too much replayability. A good "Here's what you can do with VR" game to show your friends, but not quite deep enough to keep me coming back.
