Earl and Hank have only one thing in common: they're both L.A.P.D. rejects. One just got kicked out, the other can't even get in. Despite being damned to the lowest rung of the law enforcement ladder, Earl and Hank uncover a sophisticated smuggling operation led by Nash and his band of thugs. When Earl and Hank get their hands on some hot property, they go on the run from, first the bad guys, then the L.A.P.D.--led by Lt. Washington and Detective McDuff. What these two unlikely partners do to law enforcement is a crime, but they just might save the day. That is, if they don't kill each other first.
If it were possible to give this movie a negative 10, it would still be too high. It is complete trash from start to finish. If I thought I could have received a refund, I would have asked for it. Don't wait for this movie to come out on video, a root canal would be a more enjoyable way to spend your time. This was the first time I saw Martin Lawrence in a movie. It will definitely be the last. His obnoxious personality is painfully obvious though the entire movie. If I owned stock in Sony Pictures, I'd certainly sell it.

I think that is now my number one favorite Martin Lawrence movie! It also learns a great lesson about friendship just like most buddy action comedy movies. It also had a lot of cool music. I thought the most funny part was when Steve Zahn's character was trying to kill the bee but instead it looked like he was beating up Martin Lawrence's character. I think it would be cool if they made a sequel. But the movie made $35.8 Million Dollars but who knows what will happen? Also there was an alternate ending on the DVD.
BOTTOM LINE: WHAT DA PROBLEM IS? In the final analysis though, the only real thing being smuggled in National Security is unwitting patrons' admission fees.
