I received an email this morning about 70% off video courses. I pressed the browse courses button to see what they had. I found two courses that would be of use to me: CCENT ICND1 100-101 Complete Video Course, and Networking and IPv4 Addressing Fundamentals LiveLessons. So my question is, wouldn't the networking and IPv4 course be covered in the ICND1 complete course? I feel as though the full course would be better, however I then wonder if the IPv4 course would have something useful that the full course doesn't. I likely can only get one of the courses, which one would be best for me? If it all possible, would it be worth it to get both? I am studying to take my ICND1 100-101. Bear in mind that videos are no substitute for written materials, so I would advice u to first study from the Official Cert Guide and if u do not understand a topic then search for a few videos on the Internet. Hope that helps and good luck with your studies! I didn't check them out though because I'm a Premium Member to Cisco and have plenty of videos to watch including YouTube! I would just study Wendall Odom's OCG's and try to watch some videos along the way. That gives you 24x7 access to some of the best instruction in video series out there. Also, it is free to sign up for a CISCOLIVE account, there you will find so many videos on so many CISCO technologies led by professionals in the field. Or you wanted to hurt your head and watch some CCIE videos, then go for it. I'll check out those CBT Nuggets ones and maybe sign up for them since your not locked in! Shane, You won't regret using CBT Nuggets! The guy who teaches the CCNA courses on CBT is AWESOME. He explains things in a way that's easy to remember, and he's kind of funny which keeps the videos entertaining and interesting. Thank you Jeremy Cioara!! I'm using the CBT Nuggets videos and the Cisco Press CCNA books by Wendell Odom. So far, those two resources plus some equipment I purchased to set up a home lab has been more than enough to get me started. Anything I run into that I'm not sure about can be answered somewhere on the Internet including this forum. Anyway, I highly recommend the CBT Nuggets site. A little expensive, but worth it.
